Only Tulips
This collection came from an accidental start to a painting. In this instance, paint ran down the page like a flower's stem and the painting theme was born. Why tulips? Spring flowers are fresh and hopeful and tulips are very Spring.
I enjoy repetition and the patterns that form from it. Developing this collection was particularly good fun as I played about with tilting the painting to allow the stem to drops.
