Cuckoos
Three of these paintings are inspired by the magic realist literature of Garcia Gabriel Marquez. The Cuckoo series was inspired by our visiting cuckoo. Red Sky in the Morning was painted with the radio on in the background with Radio Two announcing that Ukraine was officially at war with Russia.
