Spring Art Exhibition 5th April, St Luke's Church, Heage

I enjoyed exhibiting at the Spring Art Exhibition in St Luke's Church, Heage. It was my first show this year and it felt wonderful to stand alongside my current collection, chat to visitors and connect with the other three artists. Thank you to all involved!

Derbyshire Makes, 26th - 27th April, Swadlincote

Thank you to all the Visitors who popped by for a chat or to see the creation of "Tomorrow's Tulips", this feel good event was a fabulous celebration of community and making. People got "stuck in" and enjoyed hands-on, fun and accessible free workshops and demos, from pottery and wood turning to letterpress printing and more, alongside a local Makers’ Market, exhibitions and "Swad's Reet Good Art Trail" (in partnership with Swadlincote Festival of Words).

The programme aimed to deepen the National Forest's presence in the town centre with its special Forest Makers' Market and Treading Lightly, a unique workshop by artist and shoe designer Sasher Archer exploring how we can reduce our carbon footprint. I hope it returns next year!

Belper Arts Trail, 4th - 5th May, around Belper

Thank you to everyone who visited me at the co-op Co-Create space in Strutt Street, along with other talented creatives. Wasn't the murmuration a delight to see develop.

Derbyshire Open Arts 2025, 23rd, 24th, 25th - 26th May, Melbourne

Creative Melbourne Gallery will be hosting 10 artists as part of this county-wide event. I am so excited to have been invited!

PREVIEW Friday 23rd May, 2025 everyone is welcome, complimentary refreshments on arrival. Daytime openings - doors open 10am - 4,30pm, Friday 23rd May, Saturday 24th May, Sunday 25th May, Monday 26th May, 2025. Add a visit to see us to your bank holiday "to do" list and enjoy a day out in historic Melbourne, Derbyshire, it is a fabulous place to be!!

Running over 3 days this year with 100 Artisans and makers, this was a glorious sunny weekend out, thank you to all our Visitors and the Owners and our Organisers!

In 2025 this exciting show hosts over 150 Professional Artists in 65 homes, gardens, businesses and halls in the heart of Derbyshire. Artists will be exhibiting and demonstrating their skills, and selling their work in every media imaginable.
